It is a ladies night out for charity in which women wear their old prom gowns, bridesmaids dresses, or wedding gowns (this is not a requirement, you can wear whatever you are comfortable in). It is a real prom with a DJ, karaoke, a tackiest dress contest, and a game to crown the new queen. This is a wonderful, hilarious night in which women can dance the night away, have fun with friends, and help a worthy cause.
You do not have to be a mom to attend but you must be 18 or older.
Our 2016 event will be on September 3rd and the money raised will go to A Soldier’s Child Foundation.
I know there are lots of questions regarding Mom Prom so I am hoping to clear some of that up with this post. Feel free to message me with other questions! Mom Prom seeks the support of women age 18 and over (moms and non-moms) in joining together to raise money for A Soldier’s Child Foundation. Grab your girlfriends, get all dolled up and attend this incredible night of dancing, generous raffles and heartfelt moments!
Do you have to be a mom to attend Mom Prom?
NO! Mom Prom is open to all women age 18 and over, whether they are moms or not. (There is an extra $5 fee for ladies 18-20) This event is to celebrate and empower women, all the while showing that women can make a difference for a cause.
Can I bring my husband/boyfriend/dad/son/
Nope, sorry from 7-11pm Mom Prom is a ladies-only event! Grab your girlfriends and celebrate with a night out, away from the stress and responsibility your role as a woman sometimes creates. After 11pm we will allow men to come in!
So what is Mom Prom anyway?
Mom Prom is the ultimate girls-night-out charity event where women can dress up, hang out, take a chance at awesome raffle prizes, dance the night away and support a great cause.
How much are tickets? How do I get mine?
Pre-sale tickets are $20 a person through ticketfly. We have tickets on hand if you would like to purchase with cash send a message to Ashley Travis or Alexandria Knoll.
($5 extra for ladies 18-20). Tickets at the door are $25 each.
If I plan to attend with a group of women, do we need to buy tickets together or is it “general admission”? Will there be seating?
All tickets are general admission, and there are no assigned tables or seats. There will be tables and a lounge area, too, but we hope you’ll spend most of your time on the dance floor, with your friends at the photo opportunity or staking out your favorite raffle items.
What should I wear?
Mom Prom is a dressy affair. While we expect a range of dresses, from dressy casual up to formal gowns, you should wear something that makes you feel special! Dress to your comfort, wear your choice confidently and feel like a million bucks!
Do I need to bring my camera?
We’re lucky to have the services of amazing professional photographers for the entire event, who will be snapping away photos of guests in all aspects of Mom Prom. If you want to bring your own camera (at your own risk), feel free, but we do have the professional photographer ready to worry about that stuff while you enjoy the night with your girlfriends! We will be doing a photo booth and printing a picture right there for you to take home with you for only $10! Other pictures will be posted online for you to view after Mom Prom.
Do I need to bring money to the Mom Prom?
You may want to bring cash to buy raffle tickets or to purchase pictures. Food and drinks are not included in the ticket price so you will want to plan to have a debit/credit card or cash to purchase those as well. It is a bar so there will be alcohol for sale.
Pre-sale tickets available now for only $20.
