Many great folks from First Timers to Hall Of Famers are stopping by the Whiskey River Saloon to take part in the Bobby Keel Songwriter/Open Mic Show. One never knows who is sitting in the crowd waiting their turn to take the stage or just kicked back and listening to the great music.

It’s not unheard of for a few differnt folks to all take the stage together and just have a great jam session or even hang around after the show and pick a few while others chime in and sing along.

USO Fort Campbell Tour/USO Grand Opening, Nashville, TN

On April 30 - May 3rd, Approximately 220-250 Staff, Leaders, and honored guests came to Nashville and Fort Campbell from Japan, Korea, Guam, Hawaii, Germany, Italy, Afghanistan, Kuwait, United Arab Emirates, and the United States.

They toured Fort Campbell and also helped to mark the grand opening of the new USO center at the Nashville International Airport. The new, 900 square foot center, located at the junction of C and D Concourses, replaces BNA’s military lounge. It will provide troops and families with programs and services that not only lift their spirits, but also deliver a touch of home, such as computer services, video gaming, TV and relaxation, a children’s play area and snacks.

The next time you are traveling and find yourself at the Nashville International Airport, take time to visit the USO Nashville located at the entrance to Concourse C…just behind the “Hudson News” store.

PUBLIC AWARENESS: Ray Farmer Now In Custody

The Clarksville Police Department is no longer looking for Ray Farmer. Mr. Farmer was taken into custody last night in Lawrence County, Kentucky. I have no detail on the arrest. Only wanted to make public aware, because we have been receiving tips and they are no longer needed.

The Clarksville Police Department is currently investigating an unattended death on Jack Miller Blvd. At this time we have no information that we can release. Also the next of kin hasn’t been notified.

TRAFFIC ADVISORY – Overturned Diesel Truck

The Clarksville Police Department is currently working a crash involving a Tractor Trailer Diesel Truck that has overturned on Whitfield Road near Blakemore Dr.. We are asking vehicles to find an alternate route until the Truck can be turned back over and towed away safely. They are also trying to determine if any Diesel Fuel has leaked. Officers on the scene have set-up detours, but if you can avoid the area it would assist CPD and avoid further traffic congestion.

UPDATE 10:57 am:

Whitfield Rd. will be restricted to one lane of Travel until further notice. The Company that owns the Tractor Trailer will be doing clean-up and will have flagmen in place. It is recommended that if you can take another route that citizens do so until the cleanup is over. The Clarksville Police Department will not be on the scene the Company has taken over control of the traffic.
